Jabala was a brave man from Koofa who was martyred at Kerbala in the first attack on the day of Aashoora. He was in the army of Hazrat Ali (A.S) at Sifin. He took part in the movement of Hazrat Muslim (A.S) at Koofa. After Muslim (A.S) was martyred, Jabala went to his tribe and hid himself. When Imam Hussain (A.S) arrived at Kerbala, Jabala joined him and got martyred. His name also appears in 'Ziarat-e-Nahya-e-Muqaddisa'.
